Trader Joe's has announced 30 new stores in 16 states. Two of them open this week: Anaheim Hills, California, on Thursday, October 22, and West Jordan, Utah, on Friday, October 23, both at 9 a.m. The rest are announced with addresses but no opening dates yet.

- Anaheim Hills, California: 6336 E. Santa Ana Canyon Road, in the former Big Lots space in Anaheim Hills Village. Opens Thursday, October 22, at 9 a.m. It's the first Trader Joe's in Anaheim Hills.
- West Jordan, Utah: 5561 W. 7800 South. Opens Friday, October 23, at 9 a.m. It's Trader Joe's 10th store in Utah.
Both are open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

What the map shows
- The Chicago area gets as many as all of California. Four stores each: two in Chicago itself, plus Oswego and Joliet in the suburbs.
- Texas gets one store in each of its three biggest metro areas: Houston (Bellaire), Austin (Cedar Park) and Dallas–Fort Worth (Mansfield).
- The Southeast outside Florida gets none. No new stores are announced in Georgia, the Carolinas, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Kentucky or Virginia.
- Florida's three are spread out: Boynton Beach on the Atlantic coast (the city's first Trader Joe's), Orlando inland, and Sarasota on the Gulf coast.
How this map was checked
Every store comes from Trader Joe's announcements, as reported by Supermarket News (October 20, 2026) and Fast Company, and each address was checked against a second source. The opening dates for Anaheim Hills and West Jordan are from Trader Joe's announcement and local coverage (ABC4, the Salt Lake Tribune, The Shelby Report). One correction: Supermarket News printed the Bend address as "S. Highway 7"; the store is on S. Highway 97.
Sources differ on when the other 28 open, from late 2026 to 2027, so the map lists them as announced with no date. We update the map as stores open or new ones are announced. This page isn't affiliated with Trader Joe's.
