A pin map is a map with a pin on every location you care about: customers, stores, trips, events, or properties. Online pin maps are interactive, so viewers can zoom, click a pin, and see its details.

How do I create a pin map for free?

Sign up for a free Create Mappins account, create a new map, and add locations by searching addresses or clicking on the map. The free plan includes up to 3 maps with 20 pins each.

Can I pin a map with locations from a spreadsheet?

Yes. On the Pro plan ($20/mo) you can import an Excel or CSV file and every address or coordinate becomes a pin on your map automatically.

Is an online pin map better than a physical push pin map?

A digital push pin map never runs out of space, can hold notes and photos on every pin, and can be shared with anyone via a link or embedded on a website. You can update it from anywhere, too.

Can I embed my pin map on a website?

Yes. Every pin map has a public share link and an iframe embed code. Changes you make in the editor appear on the embedded map automatically.

Can I color-code pins on my map?

Yes. Give each pin its own color to group locations by category, region, or status. Pro users can also choose from 500+ custom icons.
