Every pin preserved

Names, descriptions, and marker colors come across as they were.

Tied to your account

Things MapCustomizer doesn't have

CSV import, public sharing links, website embeds, clustering, 10+ map styles.

How it works

The migration reads MapCustomizer's public map endpoint, so pins keep the name, description, and color you set.

Why migrate

What changes once your map is on Create Mappins

On MapCustomizer, your map is tied to a URL. Lose the URL, lose the map. On Create Mappins, every map is saved under your account. Sign in from any device and the maps are still there. Clearing the browser doesn't lose anything.

Based on the last few years, mapcustomizer.com will go offline again at some point. When it does, your imported copy on Create Mappins keeps working.

You also get the things MapCustomizer doesn't have: CSV and Excel import, pin clustering, 10+ base map styles, routes, regions, public share links, embed code, and password-protected maps. The free plan covers up to 3 maps with unlimited pins on each. Pro is $20/month if you need the more advanced features.
